Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis says Nick Powell is staying calm over the frenzied transfer interest around him.

Manchester United and Everton are chasing the £4 million-rated midfielder.

Davis said: "Nick has coped with the speculation very well. We have purposefully kept him out of the limelight to let him concentrate on his football.

"I expect there will be clubs interested in him."
