Crewe Alexandra boss Steven Davis is full of praise for Swansea City fullback Alan Tate.

Tate's loan at Gresty Road expires this week.

On a possible return for Tate, Davis told The Sentinel: "I will consider what we do in January, obviously he's the first of a number of loan players who are up, we've also got our loan players who are out and we need to consider whether they stay at their respective clubs so there's going to be a lot of thought about that over the next couple of weeks."
