Columbus Crew and ex-LA Galaxy coach Sigi Schmid is a little disappointed with his former club. "L.A. not making it, that was something that disappointed more than just me," Schmid told the Columbus Dispatch. Schmid was also surprised with Open Cup Champions DC United season.

"They're struggling to get in and that's something people probably didn't expect, especially with the changes they made," he said. "That's the Supporters Shield winner and now they're struggling to get over hump."

Columbus Crew are the Supporters Shield (overall League top position) winners for 2008.
