Crespo says Serie A safety lone Parma goal

Hernan Crespo says staying up is Parma's target for the coming season.

Crespo, 36, will still be appearing for the Stadio Tardini outfit this term after penning a new one-year deal in June.

"I want to reach 100 goals in this shirt," he told Sky Sport Italia. "We will all give our best in order to avoid relegation."

The veteran Argentine has scored 91 goals in all competitions for the club during two spells with the Gialloblu.

He spent four seasons at Parma before his 2000 switch to Lazio and returned to the Tardini in January 2010 after a brief stint at Genoa.

"We are all working hard," he continued. "The atmosphere around the club really helps us too. This is a great city that loves me - that's very motivating."
