Parma youth chief Hernan Crespo admits the club's financial demise has shocked him.

Parma's president Giamperti Manenti was arrested yesterday.

"Look, we no longer know what to say," Crespo told Calcionews24.com. "Unfortunately something terribly serious happened yet again.

"I don't want to discuss the details, we'll go over them in the future.

"I can't pass judgment on the legal issues but I can say that we're going ahead in spite of the hardship.

"My lads are driven and want to end their season on a high note. I have a stupendous group.

"Please don't ask me to say anymore. This is an excessively difficult moment."
