Former AC Milan striker Hernan Crespo has hailed the impact of Rino Gattuso since he succeeded Vincenzo Montella.
Gattuso now has Milan on the brink of Champions League qualification.
Crespo told Sky Italia: "I'm just glad that Rino is doing well.
"It is not just to change the attitude of players who are fundamentally good, he showed something characteristic, and it's not cheap. He made aware the players of the place where they are, and this should be acknowledged.
"I'd like him to stay and see a whole season with him in charge."
