Crazy fallout from arrest of Newcastle striker Ranger

Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger allegedly saw his car stolen as his collar was being felt last week!

The Mirror reports controversial Ranger, 20, was stopped by police who suspected him of drink-driving at 4.53am on Sunday.

The officers asked him to step outside his highly distinctive black and white vehicle, which has "Ranger" on the bonnet and "Power Ranger" on the back.

But as they were speaking to him in Newcastle city centre, the car was allegedly driven off.

Two men were later arrested on suspicion of taking the vehicle without consent.

Ranger, who posted a picture of himself with the car on Twitter shortly before the incident, was bailed pending the result of a blood test.

The player seemed unconcerned yesterday, posting on his Twitter account: "Lifes Too Short To Worry About Things", before revealing that he was going to get a new tattoo on his elbow.
