Craig Mackail-Smith is fully committed to Brighton.

Albion's £2.5million record signing says he is only ­interested in winning promotion with Brighton.

He said: "It's nice when people say that I'm too good to be playing in the Championship because it means that I'm doing my job well.

"But all I'm concerned about is playing well for Brighton and making sure we are towards the top of the table at the end of the season.

"Speculation about interest from other clubs doesn't bother me. My job is to score goals for Albion and I intend to keep doing that."
