Wolves veteran Jody Craddock hopes to land a new contract.
The former Sunderland man believes he still has plenty to offer and he is hopeful of remaining in Mick McCarthy's plans.
"I feel fit enough, strong enough and good enough to carry on and my movement is the best it's been for years," Craddock told the Express & Star.
"So hopefully I'll get a deal. I don't want to say too much in case I don't get one and I'm just enjoying this moment for what it is.
"But I want to carry on playing and I'm keeping my fingers crossed and my ear to the phone, and, hopefully, people will see me here next season.
"I feel better than I have done for two or three years, so I do feel confident. The hip is good - fantastic in fact. I have no problems whatsoever with it.
"I might not have the pace I had at 21, but I have the experience and I don't feel out of place; I feel comfortable, which is nice."
