The two red cards from the Perth Glory and Newcastle Jets match have been deliberated on by the independent Match Review Panel. Glory skipper Jamie Coyne was sent off the pitch in Sunday's draw for serious foul play but the Glory made an application to challenge the card.
After reviewing all available data of the incident, the panel decided to erase Coyne's red card and he is now free to play in the next A-League match.
However, Jets defender Daniel Piorkowski has received the mandatory match suspension of two games for his indiscretion.
