Coyle won't quit Bolton

Owen Coyle insists he won't quit his job at Bolton Wanderers.

Pressure is growing on the Wanderers chief, after a run of 13 defeats in their last 15 league matches.

But Coyle said: "We've a fantastic club, an unbelievable owner. The chairman and I have a great relationship.

"Our supporters have been great too. But I totally understand, given what we've done, the expectation is we have to be better than where we are just now.

"We have to improve. To do that we need the fans onside. I won't sit here and make excuses for myself or the group. We know we have to do better.

"When you raise expectations you have to try and match up. We've not done that but we can do very quickly. Football can change within one game. That's why we love it."
