Coyle warns Bolton duo over delay signing new deal

Jussi Jaaskelainen and Zat Knight have been warned by Bolton boss Owen Coyle not to try to hold the club to ransom over new contracts. The duo have been warned they risk being released if they do not put pen to paper soon.

"We'll talk to them both but the decisions simply cannot run all summer," he told the Bolton News.

"There will have to be some closure in the next couple of weeks.

"We'd love them to stay but it has to be the right thing for them as players and for this football club. We make the best offer for Bolton Wanderers.

"I know Zat wants to stay but equally we have got budgets and we stick to them, not compete with someone else. Both players know what they have got at this football club."
