Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle admits spirits are high at the club as Fabrice Muamba continues his remarkable recovery.

Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle admits spirits are high at the club as Fabrice Muamba continues his remarkable recovery.

Muamba continues to stun and delight doctors with his recovery and yesterday his fiancee Shauna Magunda posted a picture of him — sitting up smiling in his hospital bed — on Twitter.

Coyle declared: "There is never a second any of us are not thinking about his recovery, and that is the way we have to go about it.

"There is no doubt that, mentally and physically, it will have taken a toll on the players.

"But in the context of such an important game, I think playing Wolves will take care of itself. The players are doing it for themselves, and for the football club they're representing.

"All games are emotionally charged but the last two were under very different circumstances."
