Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle is eager to clearout his defensive fringe players.

The Daily Star says Coyle is ready to ship out three defenders as he attempts to reshape his side.

Andy O'Brien, 31 on Tuesday, and Jlloyd Samuel, 29 are wanted by Newcastle while Bristol City are keen on Danny Shittu, 29.

Coyle is also open to offers for Nicky Hunt, 26, and Joey O'Brien, 24, as he clears the decks of squad players.
