Coyle not surprised by Sturridge impact at Bolton

Daniel Sturridge is enjoying some brilliant form with loan club Bolton and manager Owen Coyle is not one bit surprised.

The 21-year old Chelsea striker has scored three goals in three games in his new colours, two of which have helped his loan side to wins, and Coyle says he is not surprised as he is a young player just wanting to get out there and show his best.

Coyle had success with Arsenal teenager Jack Wilshere last season and says it is simply a matter of these promising players getting time on the pitch.

"I am not surprised. These young players are just craving a platform to go and play," he said.

"There are some terrific young talented players out there, most of them will be at the elite clubs. But there is no shame in not being in the Arsenal or Chelsea team.

"If I feel there are players who can benefit Bolton I will do everything in my power to bring them here."
