Coyle makes Bolton playing comeback - and scores

Owen Coyle made a playing comeback for Bolton Wanderers in Northern Ireland.

The manager donned a Whites shirt for the first time in 15 years as the club helped Cliftonville mark the official opening of their new 3G pitch at Solitude in North Belfast.

And he capped his surprise appearance with a superb chipped goal to make it 2-0 on the night - his first goal in Wanderers colours since the infamous play-off final victory over Reading in 1995 at Wembley.

The manager put in a 68-minute shift before giving way to Tim Eaves, with the game finishing 2-0 in the Whites' favour.
