Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle says Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is the type of player he wants to bring to the Reebok this summer.

Coyle has confirmed new talks with Arsenal about extending Wilshere's loan into next season.

Wilshere sums up the kind of player Coyle is looking to recruit this summer, as he looks to provide a more technical edge to his side next season.

"He is so hungry to develop and has a maturity well beyond his years," he said. "He can take a tackle and he's got that maverick ability on the ball that I really love in my players.

"A deal would benefit Jack Wilshere, benefit Arsenal, and benefit Bolton Wanderers - it is the perfect scenario."
