Cox happy Andrews now with him at West Brom

Simon Cox is happy Republic of Ireland teammate Keith Andrews has joined him at West Bromwich Albion.

Andrews made the move last week from Blackburn Rovers.

Cox told the WBA website: "He is the sort of person who looks to pass in behind and can play that killer pass, and that could be a valuable asset to the team.

"If you look at a lot of his goals for Ipswich a lot of them would be strikes from outside the box. Keith's got very good technique and he concentrates on that more than most.

"He will be a very good addition to the team and Premier League experience is what we need, and we need bodies as well.

"With the likes of Youssouf and Mozza in there we are a bit small at the moment. Keith's not massive but he's a fair size and he puts himself about.

"Leadership on the pitch is something we probably need a little bit more of and Keith is someone who talks well on the pitch, and hopefully he will bring that to the team."
