Simon Cox expects to keep his place at West Bromwich Albion during their Carling Cup run.
Cox was outstanding in victory over Leicester City.
Cox, who cost £1.9million, said: "The manager has stuck by the lads who have got him this far in the Carling Cup and it's paid off for him.
"I hope he sticks by us as far as we can go.
"If we go out in the quarter-finals so be it - but if we get all the way to the semi-finals and the final, then I expect to play at Wembley."
