Cox confident West Brom will pick right man

West Bromwich Albion striker Simon Cox is supremely confident that the club will select the right man as manager.

The Baggies are currently in talks with German Ralf Rangnick to replace England boss Roy Hodgson but whoever does end up getting the job, Republic of Ireland international Cox feels the appointment will be a positive one as the Baggies board know what they are doing.

"First of all we have to appoint one and then whoever that may be I will pick up the phone and see what his plans are, not just for me but for the whole of West Brom," he told Sky Sports News.

"I've never heard of him (Rangnick), being perfectly honest, but whoever the board of directors decide is the right man, I'm sure we will give him a warm welcome if he is the man to take the hot-seat."
