Don Cowie has urged Cardiff City not to give up hope of beating the drop.
They take on Newcastle United on Saturday before finishing their season with a home game against potential champions Chelsea.
But Scottish midfielder Cowie said: "There's still two games to play and six points to play for. If we can get them, who knows what could happen.
"We lick our wounds and get on with it. There's no point in feeling sorry for ourselves because there is simply no time for us to do so.
"We get on with it and focus on two massive games ahead, we've got to try and get maximum points."
