Cardiff City midfielder Don Cowie says victory Swansea City gives them a huge confidence boost.
Cowie is delighted to see the Bluebirds in mid-table.
"It was a massive result for us against Swansea," said Cowie to the Western M ail.
"First and foremost it was a massive three points for us. It pushes us up that league table a wee bit and the fact it was against Swansea obviously makes it all the sweeter.
"It just shows how tight things are though that the win takes us above Swansea and puts us secure in mid-table for the moment.
"We've got a big game now against Aston Villa coming up next and we will really want to kick on again. The next game becomes massive for us now.
"Swansea are a great team. They've been in the Premier League a few years now and they have really established themselves."
