West Ham striker Freddie Sears has joined Coventry City on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year old, who spent the first half of the season on loan with Crystal Palace, has been called in by Sky Blues boss Chris Coleman after Leon Best signed with Newcastle United on transfer deadline day.
Sears had been linked with a move to Scunthorpe United but Nigel Adkins quashed those rumours and he is now on his way to Ricoh Arena to be a part of Coventry's squad to take on Queens Park Rangers this weekend.
