Coventry City are moving to keep hold of striker Marlon King.
The Mirror says Coventry chairman Ray Ranson has held talks with Marlon King and promised him a new contract after sacking his mentor Aidy Boothroyd.
King is being watched by West Bromwich Albion.
Ranson is anxious to keep King in the summer and promised him a new deal in talks at the club's training ground on Monday.
