Coventry City boss Tony Mowbray has urged on-loan Newcastle United striker Adam Armstrong to relax.
The 19-year-old has been sent to the Ricoh Arena to prove his worth, and responded with 19 goals in 32 appearances. But he has not scored in his last five, and Sky Blues manager Mowbray has told him to relax.
“Maybe he's a bit anxious to get a goal," said the former Middlesbrough captain and manager. “I think he's had some opportunities (recently) and that he's probably snatched at one or two.
“But he's the sort of player who will go and score a hat-trick or another two, because he scores two all the time. He's the type who won't score for two or three games and then, potentially, score seven or eight in three matches.
“He doesn't have to work any harder or get any more anxious. He just wants to score goals. He's had opportunities but maybe just been in a bit of rush in the box."
