Inter Milan midfielder Philippe Coutinho has backed their pursuit of Sao Paulo star Lucas.

Coutinho hopes he can be joined by his fellow Brazilian this season, who is also wanted by Manchester United.

"Of course I hope he can come, as he is a champion, but I am not the one who makes these decisions. The transfer strategy is dictated by the club."
