Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is delighted to be facing parent club Chelsea in the European Super Cup.

Courtois admits he won't allow sentiment to influence his performance.

"It will be special to play against my club, but now I'm at Atletico and I want to win. I have more feelings for Atletico than Chelsea, but I respect them for it is they who own me," Courtois told Marca.

"I'm very happy. I have also seen that Atletico supporters wanted me to return. It's a nice recognition."
