"People shouldn't forget that Eden is only one year older than me and he has already been playing for a number of years.
"Every season he has played fully and the year we were champions he was there every week, playing his best.
"But I think he had a number of small injuries last season and that makes it hard for anyone to be at their best, especially in the Premier League.
"He relaxed his body, got plenty of rest, and he started to excel again at the end of last season.
"Eden took that into the European Championships with Belgium and has started well with Chelsea now. But if the team is not working, you can't expect one player to excel on his own."
