Thibaut Courtois is well aware just how difficult it will be for Chelsea to win the Premier League title against next season.
The Blues clinched the 2014/15 trophy last weekend after beating Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge before being held to a 1-1 draw by Liverpool on Sunday.
Goalkeeper Courtois, who turned 23 on Monday, knows it was tough enough to sit at the top of the table this term but insists that the west Londoners will be doing everything in their power to defend their premiership in the ensuing campaign.
"Every year is a difficult year with the amount of top teams in this league. We did great this season to win two trophies and of course the Premier League is a huge one," he told the club's official website.
"All the team and myself are really happy and we are looking forward to defending our title next season and achieving some more great things."
