Thibaut Courtois expects to settle his future with Chelsea next week.

The Belgian goalkeeper, currently on loan with Atletico Madrid from Chelsea, insisted an announcement would be made as to where he will play his football next season.

He told Canal Plus: "Atleti is finalising the negotiations with Chelsea, and next week I will say if I stay."

The most likely outcome at this point according to sources in Spain is that Courtois remains with Atleti for another season, while still being contracted to the west London outfit.
