Former Rennes and Marseille coach Rolland Courbis has scoffed at Pep Guardiola's claims of Paul Pogba being offered to Manchester City.

Guardiola insisted Pogba was offered to City before yesterday's 3-2 defeat to Manchester United.

And for Courbis, he finds the claims hard to believe.

He told RMC: "It's not only surreal, I do not believe a word of this montage. I do not think that the question posed by the journalist comes from the idea of the journalist, it feels as big as a house that it is Guardiola who is asked.

"It has nothing to do with the rest, this question. A few hours after losing 3-0 in Liverpool and before the derby with Manchester United and Mourinho, in the hall the important question is that we're offered Mkhitaryan and Pogba two months ago?
