Sky Sports News reports Tommy Johnson has been sacked as first-team coach at Notts County. The 39-year-old, who began his playing career with the Magpies, had been in the coaching role for three years.
Johnson, who also spent time at Aston Villa and Celtic during his playing days, joined the club under the management of Ian McParland after ending his playing career at Rocester.
The backroom reshuffle is a likely result of the appointment of Paul Ince, who was brought in to succeed Craig Short as manager at Meadow Lane at the end of last month.
