Regardless of which League Notts County are playing in next season boss Martin Allen is planning to strengthen the squad. The Magpies are currently battling against relegation in League One, sitting 19th in the table with only four games remaining.
Allen, who was appointed as manager last week, said: "We`ve got to improve the playing staff for next season.
"It is my job to make sure we have a good team whatever division we are playing in next season.
"We will be in the division we deserve to be in at the end of this campaign and we have to have a decent team for the start of next season.
"I want to put a strong squad together that will win games. I can assure everyone I am already planning that because if I wasn't I would be mad."
