Nottingham City Council has announced that it will review the capacity level at Notts County's Meadow Lane home. The club's General Safety Certificate for the forthcoming npower League One campaign was issued on Monday and confirmed that the maximum attendance allowed on matchdays will be 13,725.

However, the council's Community Protection department have acknowledged work put in by the club during the summer and the capacity of the stadium will be reviewed as an on-going process.

A council spokesman said: "The club has taken some positive steps to provide reassurance of its commitment to ground safety and management."
