Cotterill accepts Swansea stay now over
The loan market opens next week.
"As soon as the loan window opens, I'll be looking to get out and play a few games," said Cotterill in the Evening Post.
"It's really frustrating at the moment that I'm not playing. I'm not even travelling with the team so it's important I go somewhere else to give me the best chance of getting in the Welsh squad.
"My future's not looking very bright at Swansea, that's no secret because the gaffer's put it out in the press."
