Confusion reigns at Fulham over the status of their coaching staff.
The Mail on Sunday says there is confusion over the fate of Rene Meulensteen, his assistant Ray Wilkins and technical director Alan Curbishley, and over who approved the club's January transfer window signings.
Fulham say Meulensteen's contract has not been terminated, but the Dutchman insists he has been sacked.
On Saturday night, reports suggested Wilkins had been dismissed but a source close to the former Chelsea star denied that he had been axed, although his departure is expected on Sunday.
Wilkins has been told not to attend training but to meet chief executive Alistair Mackintosh instead.
