Costel Pantilimon has enjoyed an outstanding preseason with Manchester City.
The Romania international, who is the tallest player in the Premier League at 6ft 8ins, intends to push Joe Hart all the way for the first team gloves this season.
The Manchester Evening News says Pantilimon has been one of the big plusses of City's pre-season tour, while Hart has been sunning himself following his exertions in England's Euro 2012 campaign.
