Serse Cosmi is happy to take on the Palermo job, despite the shaky nature of the position.

The former Perugia and Brescia Coach was drafted in last night after Delio Rossi's dismissal in the wake of a 7-0 defeat to Udinese.

"Am I a caretaker manager? We are all caretaker managers in this business," commented Cosmi in his presentation Press conference.

"There's no such thing as a long or short contract that cannot be broken. No Coach has a guarantee that agreement will be respected by the club, because it is tied to results.

"I came here in a team where I don't see particular problems or a hellish atmosphere. I am certain that I have a squad with great quality, as there is the right mix between players of experience and potential.

"Clearly after a 7-0 home defeat we need to do some psychological work on the side, but we're ready to work and emerge from this particular situation."
