Palermo coach Serse Cosmi has announced immediate tactical changes.

Cosmi was drafted in this week after a shock 7-0 home defeat to Udinese marked the end for Delio Rossi.

"During the week we tried out this new system, so will adopt a 3-5-2," explained Cosmi ahead of the trip to Lazio.

"Ilicic started his career as a central midfielder, so for me he is not a trequartista. I cannot transform his style of play, but I do want him to take part in the overall team movements a lot more.

"Fabio Liverani is not fit to play 90 minutes, so he will start from the bench."
