Fiorentina sports chief Pantaleo Corvino declared yesterday that the club's major players all have buyout clauses in their contracts.
Corvino admitted the decision is groundbreaking for Italian football and he hopes it will help protect the club from interested rivals.
The player with the highest clause is Alberto Gilardino, who has a figure for his sale of £22 million. Just below that figure, for the acquisition by Stefan Jovetic it will take £20 million, next is Felipe Melo, who can leave for £18 million.
Goalkeeper Sebastien Frey's clause is £15 million, a figure more or less the same for Riccardo Montolivo.
