Corvino insists Fiorentina won't sell best players

Fiorentina sports director Pantaleo Corvino has ruled out selling any of their major players.

Felipe Melo is attracting interest from Inter, Liverpool and Real Madrid, while Adrian Mutu is also at the centre of transfer speculation.

"Not one of our champions is for sale," Corvino told La Gazzetta dello Sport, before denying Melo has a minimum fee release clause.

"To leave he would have to go to Piazzale Michelangelo with a megaphone and shout that he wants to be sold," he joked.

"This is the same with all of our players. Explain to me why I should sell a player that I have spent years looking for?

"I think that Felipe Melo will stay with the Viola along with Mutu. This summer Fiorentina will not be upset, just reinforced," he said.
