Bernardo Corradi has encouraged Juventus legend Alessandro del Piero to make a move to MLS.
Del Piero is available after leaving Sydney FC and has had contact with DC United.
Corradi, who ended his career with Montreal Impact, told TMW: "Honestly, Del Piero had a chance to go to the US. Well, I knew his idea was to go to the US, then he had the opportunity to go to Australia and has made a difference, even though it wasn't the brilliance of his past twenty years.
"What I can say is that my advice is to take this experience. A champion like him would also offer a good image of Italian football in the United States.
"For my experience I can say I had a great time in Montreal and I still thank their President for giving me the opportunity to experience this life. "
