Vedran Corluka is delighted with life at Manchester City.

The Croatia international defender has settled quickly at right-back for City and told the club's website: "I don't think I'm at my best yet because I am still getting used to the game in England. I don't feel so much pressure playing for Croatia, but here I do because I have got to show everybody that I deserve to be here and that I'm not just here to take money or sit on the bench. I want to play and show that I deserve to be with City.

"I'm enjoying it here because I'm playing," he continues. "That's the most important thing, I'm young and I'm playing in the best league of all. I think I'm better in the middle, but when the manager says that I'm doing well at right back I'll play however and wherever he wants me to.

"It's been much easier for me because we have been doing so well. I came to a new country and the play here is faster and stronger than what I was used to, but when we play well and the crowd are happy with what they see then it makes it better for me."
