Vedran Corluka has completed his transfer from Tottenham to Russian Premier League club Lokomotiv Moscow.
The Croatian defender spent the last six months of last season on loan with German outfit Bayer Leverkusen and has now departed Spurs permanently with Lokomotiv spending £5.5million for his services.
Corluka has signed a three-year deal to reunite with former Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko who is excited about the clubs capture.
"He is a very tenacious, uncompromising defender, who is practically impossible to beat one on one.
"He convinced me of this in training several times.
"He's physically strong and, without flatter, I would say that Corluka was probably the strongest defender at Tottenham.""It's great news - the best I've heard for a week and a half," said Pavlyuchenko.
