Tottenham fullback Vedran Corluka has revealed how his ties to the club began as early as when he was a ball-boy in Croatia.

He revealed to the People: "Ossie Ardiles was the manager at Dinamo Zagreb when they played Manchester United in the Champions League and I was a ball boy - so I knew all about Tottenham Hotspur because of him.

"I know Ossie was a great player here, everybody talks about him. Unfortunately in Croatia he was sacked!"
