Cork City manager Alan Mathews is prepared to cash in on striker Dave Mooney.

The Premier Division's top goalscorer from last season has netted on 14 occasions so far this term after being on trial at Blackburn Rovers over the winter.

Speaking to Redfm, the City boss said: "There's been a lot of discussion about Dave.

"The reality is that he's in the middle of a three-year contract with the club. But if an offer comes in that's acceptable to the club and to Dave then we'll have to think about it."
