Chelsea midfielder Jack Cork is resigned to leaving Stamford Bridge in the near future and after a successful loan spell with Burnley has not discounted a permanent return to the Championship club. The England Under-21s international made 46 appearances in all competitions for the Clarets this season, scoring three goals.
"I really like it here and I've said that from the day I've come here," Cork told Burnley's official website. "The fans have been really good to me and the players are a great set of lads.
"If anyone was to come in for me I think Burnley would be right up there. They would be the top club I would probably be most interested in going to."
Cork added: "It's somewhere I have settled already and my girlfriend is settled here.
"It's a good place and a friendly club. I have met a lot of good people here and I will have to sit down in the summer and decide what I'm going to do."
