Jack Cork has apologised to Swansea City fans after their humiliating FA Cup defeat to League Two Oxford.
More than 1,500 supporters made the trip to watch their relegation-threatened club's season sink to a new low with a shock 3-2 defeat.
Cork said: “We didn't work hard, we didn't match them at all in the game and we can only apologise for the performance to everyone who has come all this way to see that because it wasn't acceptable.
"In this period of the season we need to do more.
"We can't be proud of that performance. It's not a good performance when you're coming to a place like this.
"You have to give credit to them, they made it hard for us. We should have had the quality to get a result, but we didn't.
"We took our foot off the pedal and maybe lost sight of where we wanted to go from there."
