Corinthians midfielder Paulinho has announced he won't be joining Inter Milan.

Paulinho held a local media conference last night to make clear he would be staying with Corinthians for the remainder of the season.

"There was the offer from Inter, it is true," he admitted, "and it was a lot of money. I made my decision with my family to remain with Corinthians. When I decide something, I mean it, so I will stay with Corinthians as I did last year.

"I have to admit that Inter are a great European club. It was a lot of money, it is true, but there are times when you must only consider your career. In July? Hopefully, I will assess everything again."
