Corinthians coach Mano Menezes has welcomed claims Juventus striker David Trezeguet is keen to join the club.

Roberto Carlos revealed this week that Trezeguet wanted to sign with Corinthians in the summer.

"Knowing that someone like Trezeguet wants to play for Corinthians makes us happy, and it's a good sign," Menezes said.

"But Trezeguet is under contract, and no players under contract abroad can come to Brazil now.

"We will wait until August to make a further analysis."
